20 common ceo problems

In the 20+ years I have been coaching leaders of small & mid-size businesses one of the biggest reveals is how common the challenges are for businesses of a similar size, regardless of industry. In the businesses I ran, I thought we were so unique, that industry outsiders wouldn’t understand and I can tell you that it was a misconception. That is why our CEO peer groups works, the members have similar challenges and chances are someone in the room has dealt with what you are going through. Delegating, hiring, retention, cash-flow, scaling, employee engagement, scaling, developing your people, and becoming a stronger leader are just a few of the common challenges we deal with in the group. The thinking, people and resources that got you to where you are, will not get you to where you are going. If you are solving the same problems repeatedly, you are working harder not smarter.
